On the bottom is a view showing the tabletop and the images which can be sized by fingers or transferred to electronic devices placed on the tabletop.  Way cool! 

This new Microsoft product called Surface (website here) is being exposed to the mainstream public in what will be an eventual advertising blitz.  Forget about the I-Phone, THIS is what I really want!  The potential of this device for speeding up things, collaboration and sharing, are almost limitless. Surface will become a planners, intel officers, and detective’s dream come true, not too mention young kids playing around the house.  Oh yeah, don’t forget spies.  Imagine you walk into a dark bar in Istanbul and as you sip your martini and look over at the belly dancer, your files are sucked out of your laptop and cell phone. Or, you leave it at your girlfriends house……and ....

well, be afraid, be very, very afraid.

And be really excited at the prospects!
